If your dad’s a country music fan, surprising him with tickets to the biggest country concert in town is sure to blow his cowboy boots off. The Buckeye Country Superfest is a two-day music festival at the Ohio Stadium from June 20 to 21, AKA Father’s Day and Father’s Day Eve. The all-star lineup includes bands and artists that both you and your dad can groove to, including Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton and Kenny Chesney.

No movie says “Dad” quite like Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The Gateway Film Center definitely hit the nail on the head with its Father’s Day event, which combines beer tasting with this classic comedy. It’s a part of their Timeless Films series. And on June 21, you and dad can enjoy some great craft beers while you laugh your way through this iconic movie. After all, it’s just a flesh wound, so you have no excuse not to come to Gateway on Father’s Day.

On Father’s Day, Columbus Food Adventures is offering the Taco Truck Food Tour, a 5-stop tour of authentic Mexican food. Disc Golf is a great game for both advance disc players and beginners. The course at Blendon Woods is especially fun and challenging. You and your dad will be throwing discs through branches, around tight corners and more on Father’s Day, as long as the weather permits it. If not, C’est La Vie — get out there!

Steve Byrne, a stand up comedian and actor from the TBS show Sullivan & Son, will be at the Columbus Funny Bone quite conveniently on Father’s Day. Byrne is likely to get you and your dad laughing. Hopefully he’ll make some Ohio-based jokes while he’s here, since Byrne actually attended Kent State University in his college years. Get your dad tickets to this comedy show at the Funny Bone and have a blast with your dad.
